Job Summary

BioAtlantis Ltd. is an innovative biotechnology company, specialising in the development and production of bioactives from natural sources for the plant, animal and human health markets. The company is recruiting a talented chemist who will work on the extraction, purification and analysis of complex, natural-based products, spanning R&D and QC departments.

Roles/duties:

  • Develop extraction and purification procedures for natural products at lab scale.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis using laboratory analytical techniques.
  • Make stable and efficient formulations to meet desired specifications and cost objectives in plant bioscience and animal feed area.
  • Conduct literature searches, review publications and prepare reports.
  • Follow industry standards on scientific significance, accuracy, safety and record keeping.

Qualifications & experience

  • Desire, aptitude and skill in natural products extraction, purification & isolation of active compounds.
  • BSc. or preferably MSc. in Chemistry or related discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of wet chemistry techniques and instrumentational analysis/interpretation is required.
  • Prior industry experience with knowledge and experience in carbohydrate chemistry is preferable.
  • Expertise in synthetic chemistry is not relevant to this position.

Job Summary
We are presently recruiting for SOC Cyber Threat and Vulnerability Manager for our clients in County Kerry.

Responsibilities:
Support the SOC Manager to ensure the SOC meets its service objectives
Manage the Cyber Threat Intelligence and Analysis (CTIA) and Vulnerability Management (VM) teams
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all matters related to Threat and Vulnerability management and Incident Response
Provide input to the strategy, vision and improvement initiatives
Support development and continuous improvement of CTIA and VM services
Monitor the performance of the CTIA and VM teams to ensure quality output
Deliver information to meet reporting requirements
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security monitoring strategies and industry benchmarks

Experience and knowledge:
Prior experience working in Enterprise Security, ideally in a financial services environment
Hands on experience in analysing and responding to incidents
Experience working in a SOC; preferably managing a team
Detailed understanding of Security Monitoring, Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability management and Incident Response
General knowledge of current and emerging security technologies, Strong information security knowledge including web, network and endpoint protocols
Sound operational knowledge of SIEM, firewalls, intrusion detection and vulnerability management systems
Ability to create reports and analysis for technical teams and senior management

Qualifications and experiences:
One of the following certifications is desired

CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
Or Equivalent GIAC certification e.g., GCIH

Job Summary
We are presently recruiting for a Conferencing and Banqueting Manager for our clients, a 4* hotel in County Kerry. You will be responsible for all enquiries for weddings, banqueting and conference business and will be responsible for to maximising sales by following up with any enquiries. This is a full time position

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure all enquiries for wedding, banqueting and conference business are handled professionally
Work closely with the Sales & Events Co-ordinator with regard to meeting room bookings, functions and meeting show around's.
Represent Hotel at all Wedding Fayres.
Overseeing the smooth operation of all weddings, functions and conferences in the hotel
Ensure that all enquiries are followed up and detailed information recorded for confirming the booking.
Liaise with the Executive Chef/ Head Chef and the kitchen team prior to and during events to ensure that any specific requests are met
Ensure that the bridal car and bridal suite are booked for weddings.
Ensure that you liaise with the reservations team in order to co-ordinate the room bookings for weddings and conferences.
Actively maintain and develop the operating standards, carry out any other duties as required
To assist the HR Manager in carrying out staff appraisals and team training
Act as the Manager on Duty when required

Job Summary
We are presently recruiting for an Experienced Bookkeeper for our Tralee, County Kerry Accountancy practice based client. You will be responsible for coordinating various accounts functions on behalf of the company and work closely with the Head Accountant. Your Duties will include performing data entry, Invoice In – Invoice - out, Payroll, preparing financial statements and performing vendor maintenance. In all tasks, you must maintain a high degree of accuracy.

Responsibilities:
Sorts and reviews invoices and check requests for proper account codes, object codes, discounts, payment terms
Bills and credits accounts involved with the accounts payable system.
Maintains a complex record and filing system of accounts payable vendor files, financial records, purchase orders and invoices for retrieval or review by Management
Responds to questions and makes calls regarding billing problems; acts as a liaison between departments and vendors.
Checks departmental financial accounts to assure funds are available for purchases.
Processes requisitions and prepares purchase orders
Preparing Vat Returns
Preparing some Payroll for clients
Accounts preparation

Qualifications, skills, salary and experience:
Qualification in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
2+ years’ experience in accounts based position
Solid experience of using Sage
Ability to use Microsoft productivity software such as Excel and Word
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organizational ability
Effective corporate communications skills
Ability to consistently meet all deadlines
Salary is open to negotiation, dependent on qualifications and experience.
